Just last week, museum go-ers had a little treat in Washington DC’s National Portrait Gallery Museum, where artist Alexa Meade held a live, interactive installation.

Twenty-five year old artist, Alexa Meade, turns reality into what one might think are flat paintings.
Instead of working on a traditional canvas, she paints directly on top of her subjects and its surroundings so as to collapse them into one continuous plane.
