taking bag sunday
No, we don’t mean the rock band… but rather, a new funky bags and accessories brand started by our friends here in Hong Kong.
In their recent collaboration with We Are Hairy People, Taking Bag Sunday came out with special edition bags that marry the most beautiful colour and shape combinations…. and of course, made with TLC. Love!
louis vuitton origami
For the opening of its new store in Osaka, luxury brand Louis Vuitton asked Happy Centro to create an invitation card based on origami to represent purity and precision (via Fubiz)
While the idea is ever so slightly reminiscent of Hermes’ Season Greeting card, its making-of video is a great little introduction to some of printing techniques that we often use for our client work at Whitespace.
discover the world
Our beloved client and friend, Callixto, is having a very special event with its very first pop-up store in Hong Kong!
Drop by and discover the hidden treasures of the world from June 21-23 at G/F Noho House, 3 Shin Hing Street.

Callixto is an online boutique dedicated to bringing together unique pieces of jewelry and other accessories from far-flung places, with a focus on originality, craftsmanship and beauty.
Find out more about the brand here, and about our work for Callixto here.
fiction in reality
Just last week, museum go-ers had a little treat in Washington DC’s National Portrait Gallery Museum, where artist Alexa Meade held a live, interactive installation.
Twenty-five year old artist, Alexa Meade, turns reality into what one might think are flat paintings.
Instead of working on a traditional canvas, she paints directly on top of her subjects and its surroundings so as to collapse them into one continuous plane.

shift: world refugee day
Here’s to an great collaboration!
Our friends at the Hong Kong Refugee Advice Centre and Laurent Segretier are working together this month to bring you SHIFT, an event to commemorate World Refugee Day on June 19th.
The event will exhibit portraits of Hong Kong’s refugees in Laurent’s unique photography style, veiling the identity of one of the city’s most vulnerable and marginalised groups, whilst capturing the emotion and fragmentation of their lives. Support the cause!
