squiderellas
HK just experienced a torrential black rain attack 2 days ago and reminded me it won’t be that horrible if I could have this color changing umbrella by Squid London.
a look for diptyque
Lovely proposal for Diptyque website from Paris graphic duo Mathilde Aubier and Christine Delaquaize of Ma+Chr. These screens look far more interesting and original than what’s on the fragrance brand’s actual site.

augmented mirror
Augmented Mirror called “Mind-Body Interaction” is developed by Andy Li. He integrated Augmented Reality (AR) and mirror into one single installation. The visual effect was generated by the computer according to your brainwave (yes, you need to wear a headset). The image in the mirror can now be your imagination, not just a reflection of reality.

bow wow
Really did not expect Kartell to be collaborating with Moschino. These flats are fab! Think Ferragamo could rethink how they position their signature ballerina flats? (Bow flats on sale 2011.)

one-of-a-kind wallpaper
5.5 designers created this wallpaper which appears to me totally ‘applicable’ to our studio space!
rock lights
came across a new record label called Fool’s Gold and found this housestastic track Rock Lights which visually the design is engaging and there is a free download to try out as well!
decorator in a box
For the do-it-yourself & budget homeowner who wants the expertise of an interior designer, but does not need a full service decorator to execute the design. Decorator In A Box might just be what you’re looking for.

In the box, you get:
Note from your decorator and on how to begin your project.
A sample board on colors, finishes, furniture and accessories.
A space plan, shopping list, a tote for carrying all your items, etc.
total eclipse of the heart
I am totally drawn to the message “simple, honest and functional design which generates strong emotions”. aren’t those values we need day to day, not only in designs? Keep this concept going.
