Craving for Helvetica Beer?
A typeface is important for any design as a right typeface will incorporate a brand’s message.
Russian designer Alexander Kischenko used Helvetica font as the key design element when he was working on a Swiss beer packaging.
The colors of cans (silver & color) corresponds to the types of beer (lagers & stouts) and the numbers represent the alcohol percentage. All texts are written in Helvetica font with planned scale of lettering.
Who does not like Japanese food? Japanese culture is best reflected in the way they treat and cook their food from sushi, Teppanyaki, sukiyaki to even pasta or pizza which they simply redefine the whole thing even they are foreign by origin. Shinya Shokudo is a recent hit in Asia. It originally is a comic depicting a small restaurant diner in Shinjuku, Japan which opens only from midnight to 7am, and each night different stories arise when people are savoring the amazing food the chef prepares. The place connects different people from all walks of life. I have 8 books with me now which I am slowly enjoying, and a drama series has now been created premiering last November. Everyone has the same feedback reading or watching this story, we all feel extremely hungry. A cookbook is coming up!
