French May is here again and what caught my eyes is this creative keyboard percussionists quintet Percussions Claviers de Lyon. They have 2 shows and 1 is called Three Tales is especially interesting as it combines music and motion film of Charles Perrault’s legendary stories into a multi-media performance.
the fantastic flying books of mr. morris lessmore
We believe that less is more…. but it’s not necessarily always true as seen with Mr. Morris Lessmore, the main character of an animation filled with flying books, colours and imagination.
Moonbot studios has recently turned their e-book app “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore” into a beautiful silent short. As they describe it, Morris Lessmore is a poignant, humorous allegory about the curative powers of story, and we couldn’t agree more.
