Asia Optical Company, a local eyewear company is turning 50. To make 2011 a year to remember, AOC1961 joined forces with WHITESPACE to launch the first project for its fiftieth anniversary celebration – “Eye Wear, Therefore I Am.” The studio designed 4 sets of hand silk-screened posters to represent the cultural characteristics of AOC1961. The poster series depict four of the world’s most famous lifestyle icons in the fashion, film, music and design industries. Produced in the limited number of 400 unique copies in total, all posters will also be signed and numbered, available for sale at exclusive lifestyle retail outlets in Hong Kong.
