Claudia and Dominica are two friends who love the fine art of cooking and wanted to share their favourite recipes. They approached WHITESPACE to art direct and oversee the production of a self-published cookbook. WHITESPACE conceived the branding, art direction and design as well as the marketing and website. Released in 2006, 3,000 copies of DELICIOUS was printed and sold out within a year, with proceeds going to local charities. After hanging up their aprons for 2 years, Claudia and Dominica decided it was time to create another book. Shot on location over 3 days at Claudia’s home, WHITESPACE worked with a team to shoot 60 recipes consisting of sweet and savoury dishes, all edited by food writer Susan Jung. Published by Haven Books, TOO DELICIOUS was released in 2008 at a special event hosted by Shanghai Tang, generating over HK$1,000,000 for Room To Read.
Delicious and Too Delicious
