Zuni Icosehedron engaged WHITESPACE to create the identity for a new arts festival centered on architecture, called “Architecture Is…Arts Festival”. The ambiguity of the name intentionally provokes a dialogue with the public about what architecture is in the form of a four-part program consisting of theatre performances, concerts, workshops and seminars. The bi-lingual logo is based on the modular and thematic nature of the event. A set of promotional and marketing materials were developed including leaflets, brochures, light boxes, display banners, and a website in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese languages. The festival was the first of its kind and was staged at the Grand Cultural Theatre in Hong Kong.
