Our friend Matt Abergel, ex-head chef at Zuma and MASA (NY), has opened Yardbird - a modern yakitori spot up on Bridges Street. With an identity done by Evan Hecox, we're already in love. We've tasted the menu which includes corn tempura, korean cauliflower rice cakes, fruit tomatoes and of course yakitori and all of it is damn delicious.
