Lan Wei

Constructions ceased, concrete buildings stayed. Anothermountaiman highlighted the "exotica of opposites between grey lan wei and bright dreamy fantasy folk" in his exhibition. A back translation of the word "lan wei" is broken end. How sad to see construction project which the end is not complete, well executed and giving false hope to people who are in need of such space that could be home or dwelling area to many.

Lanwei Exhibition by anothermountainman Date: 7.10 - 11.11.2012 Venue: Blindspot Gallery & Blindspot Annex

blindspot annex opening

One of our clients Blindspot Annex recently had its first show called "A Departure from Reality III: The Tender Truth" featuring Maleonn & Jiang Pengyi and curated by Janet Fong. It doesn't look like a lot of people were there but that's because it's an overwhelming 6,000 square feet and these photos were taken towards the end of a thunderstorm-filled evening. The show was a success and owners Mimi and Chris have done an impressive job of turning a former top-floor raw industrial laundry facility into Hong Kong's best gallery space. We cannot wait to catch the next opening and visit their rooftop.

Check out the show: 3.9 – 30.10.2010 at Blindspot Gallery (Central) Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00am to 7:00pm / 11.9 – 31.10.2010 at Blindspot Annex (Wong Chuk Hang) Opening hours: Thursday to Sunday, 11:00am to 7:00pm (during exhibition) / by appointment
