add space

Walking through the streets of Hong Kong, amid the bewildering array of brands, advertisements and bill posters, sometimes we lose sight of what is really important. Like how spectacular Hong Kong is (even if you are just visiting for a week of art) and why you are proud to call this city home or that perhaps "less is actually more"...

So we decided to add some space on the streets for the messages really worth saying.

Let us know what you think of our first wall post — "A Hong Kong second is a New York minute." We are also keen to hear what other messages you think we should share on the streets of our city.

positive posters

Positive Posters is an Australian-based non-profit organisation that aims to raise international awareness for global social issues, with a firm "belief in the unrivaled ability of designers to create impact, communicate and spark revolutions". This entry to Postive Posters was submitted to them by our Whitespace graphic designer Andrew Kwong who put a focus on world hunger. Stay tuned for details of this year's annual poster competition winning entry.

sourced grocer

Sourced Grocer branding project by ONE IOTA based in Brisbane, Australia.

Here's an excerpt on the creative process from their blog—"The posters and hand outs feature oddly coloured shots of fruit and vegetables that we literally nailed to our wall in the studio and shot in high res. The rationale behind the odd colouring was to engage the viewer to sub-consiencly question the produce they are looking at, and in conjunction with the branding statements begin them on the process of questioning the origin and seasonality of produce they consume in everyday life."
